This course builds on the ‘introduction to floral design’ run earlier in the year or can be taken as a stand alone course for those who already have some experience.
During the course you’ll further explore how to apply the elements and principles of floral design with four different arrangements. In one of the sessions you’ll learn the techniques to create a garland which can be used as a table runner or mantlepiece/doorway surround. Another session will be inspired by the floral designer Constance Spry as we look at using tints and tones of the same colour.
Each session will begin with a demonstration and then become hands on as you create your own arrangement to take home.
Everything you need is provided including the containers, sundries, flowers and foliage. Teas and coffee along with delicious treats are also included as part of the sessions!
