Privacy POLICY

At Pink and Rose we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to our website and our customers. In particular we want you to know that we are not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. This Privacy Policy gives you lots of information about when, why and how we collect and use your personal information.

Cookies are small pieces of data that websites store on a device. Our website is hosted by ‘Squarespace’. Squarepace use some necessary cookies because they allow visitors to the website to navigate and use some of the key features. This information helps us to see how many visitors there are to our website and which pages they visit.

As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer Sue Scott at sue@pinkandrose.uk . You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer.

There are times when we need to hold customers personal information details for floristry purposes for example:

  • Processing new and/or repeat orders and maintaining an order history
  • Sending emails to customers with a copy of their order and/or invoice
  • Storing delivery addresses
  • Processing BACS payments

Our Privacy Policy will be reviewed regularly and in light of any changes in regulation.
